Liz gave a small nervous smile. She had arrived at Fandom no more than a couple of minutes ago and as she took in her surroundings she was surprised that she had never heard of a place like Fandom before.
"Well here you are Liz," Professor Broom smiled as he handed her luggage, "this is Fandom, I promise things are going to turn out all right for you,"
Liz nodded, accepting the luggage that he handed to her, she placed it on the ground and gave him a tight hug, "thank you for everything Professor,"
"I was happy to help Liz," he told her as he returned the tight hug, "promise me you'll give this place a chance,"
Liz nodded again, she had promised that she would try but that didn't mean that it was going to work. She wondered how long it was actually going to be before the other students found out about her and tried to get her kicked out.
"Don't forget Blackie Liz," Hellboy said as he handed her the pet carrier, Liz smiled as she took it.
"You didn't have to come HB," she said as she put the carrier down with her luggage.
"Hey I had to see the little sister off on her first day at a new school," he told her as he drew her into a hug, which she gratefully returned, "I would fail in my duty as a big brother otherwise,"
"Thanks," she whispered as she drew back.
"And if anyone gives you a hard time," Hellboy told her, "send word and I'll come and take care of them,"
Liz grinned, "that shouldn't be neccessary," but she still felt comforted that he would still look for her even if she wasn't at BPRD Headquarters.
"Don't encourage him Liz," Professor Broom said in his stern but kind manner, "now do you have everything that you need?"
Liz nodded, "yes sir,"
"If you discover that you need something else, get in contact with me," he handed her a small card that contained the contact details of his office at the BPRD.
"I should be right but thank you," she gave him another hug.
"Well we best be off," Professor Broom said after he had returned the hug, "don't hesitate to call Liz and have a good semester,"
"I'll try sir," Liz whispered. He nodded and after glancing at his son the two left the island on their way back to the mainland. Once they had gone Liz picked up her luggage and the pet carrier and slowly made her way up to the school.
