Oct. 6th, 2021 01:28 pmHi its Tracy - I play Alara Kitan, Josephine ‘Jo’ Jones and Shane ‘Goose’ Gooseman and I’ve now got my very first Townie, who happens to be a returning character to Fandom as well. Also continuing my theme of playing characters who go by nicknames.
. Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Sherman, 27, Townie
. Appearance wise - human woman with long black hair, brown eyes, she’s on the short side and has an average build
. From the Guillermo del Toro movie franchise Hellboy, which consists of Hellboy (2004) and Hellboy 11: The Golden Army (2008)
. Hellboy follows a group of agents who work at the BPRD (Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense) in their battle against the supernatural. The public doesn’t yet know about the existence of the supernatural and the efforts of these agents who fight it. This includes Professor Trevor Bruttenholm who is an occult expert and runs the BPRD; Hellboy, a demon who was brought into the human world as a child by Rasputin in 1944 and was raised by Professor Bruttenholm; Abe Sapein, a psychometric amphibian like creature; Liz Sherman, a troubled young woman with powerful pyrokinetic abilities and Tom Manning who is tasked with keeping the public from finding out about the BPRD. In the first movie John Meyers joins the team as Hellboy’s new human handler and his main job is keeping Hellboy out of trouble
. Will be taking over as the business owner of the Photo Hut and she will also be available as a photographer for events. A Photo Hut post will go up Tuesdays and Thursdays and her photography services can be available as needed.
. Will be living in the apartment above the Photo Hut on 44 Black Swan Drive
. Was a student at Fandom, graduating class of 2010
. Is a former BPRD Agent and is skilled at both hand to hand combat and weapons training
. Is a powerful pyrokinetic, her emotions play heavily into how strong of a blast she can create. Most of the time she generates blue flames but sometimes she can create yellow flames depending on how strong her control is
. Her life changed forever when she was 14 (changed from 11 to fit in with her original FH backstory) - she was walking home from school when a group of bullies started throwing rocks at her. The rocks hit her and in response to the trauma it triggered a powerful burst of her powers that ended up levelling a city block - killing over 30 people including her parents and her brother.
. Professor Trevor Bruttenholm took custody of her, offering her a place of sanctuary to be able to train and control her powers and also to finish her education.
. She is coming to Fandom a couple of years before the events of the first Hellboy movie following the ‘Pittsburg Incident’.
. The ‘Pittsburg Incident’ was supposed to be a routine mission that she and Hellboy went on, instead she lost control of her powers and ended up killing several agents - since the BPRD has to remain secret, she publicly took the blame for what happened and was arrested as an arsonist
. In the movies this led Liz to checking herself into a mental institution, FH!Liz has chosen to return to the island where she went to school to recover and process what happened.
. As a result of her powers she is fairly introverted and terrified of losing control - she doesn’t like drawing attention to herself if she can help it.
. Was raised a strict Catholic and has a complicated relationship with her powers and her faith - she thinks her powers are a result of sin, she goes to church every Sunday and feels comfort when taking communion
. Since her powers are tied so heavily to her emotions, it is very rare that she will lose control enough to generate such an extreme explosion - in normal circumstances she can create flames and can wield them enough to control the extent of the damage
. She will be open about being a pyrokinetic but she won’t be going into a lot of details with the damage her powers have done
