“I’m okay, I’m just a bit older,” there really wasn’t any gentle way to say that 20 years had passed. She paused “I should have mentioned that this was a thing that could happen when I was first telling you about Fandom, I’m sorry, it must have been a shock to experience,”

"You could say that," Marc replied. After all, she was talking to him and not Steven. But she could probably fill in those blanks on her own. On the plus side, Liz sounded like she knew what this was. "Does it wear off?"

Liz winced at that, she could only imagine how freaked out Steven was.

“It should be back to normal on Monday,”’Liz paused, wondering if she should mention “there’s um …a chance my younger self is going to remember the weekend, she’s not …she won’t cope well with it at all,”

Liz knew how she had been during those months without Prompto, she figured it wouldn’t hurt to give Marc a heads up since she knew how stubborn her younger self could be.

“Thank you, I’m going to be okay for now, Prompto’s here with me this weekend,” Liz paused, “it was nice to talk to you again,” she felt like it had been a while at least since she had spoken to Marc.

That was two people now Marc had promised that to. Clearly after Steven's freakout the real evil of the weekend was that it was making Marc be social. Granted with people he didn't mind doing it with but still. A guy had a reputation to maintain.

At first Liz wasn’t sure she had heard him correctly but she wasn’t going to turn down an invite from Marc, she knew how rare those were.

“I’d like that,” Liz smiled, “I would like the chance to catch up this weekend,”
