Although there was a bit of a chill in the air, the wintry day was not that bad for a little wedding, and even the clouds in the sky seemed to clear in the sky for the event. Tucked away on a quiet hill, surrounded by trees, the historic Dahlgren Chapel exuded not only quaint tradition, but undeniable privacy for the bride and groom and their friends and collected family.

The small church itself was…tastefully!...decked out in most black and red, with splashes of the occasional white to keep it from being a little too Hot Topic goth-y, in a way that very intentionally meant to be a reflection of Liz's engagement ring.

And, so, with no Fandom Weirdness^™ to get in the way this time, the day was finally here for a small little wedding several months/ten years in the making.

There were so many things Steven thought of to say but he led with "I'm so happy for you" because he meant that with all his heart.

“Thank you,” Liz said happily, “I still can’t quite believe that it happened, I’m married, Prompto’s my husband,” she loved how that sounded.

"It was a lovely ceremony," Steven said. "You looked radient up there. Easy for anyone to see how much you two love each other."

“Thank you,” Liz smiled happily at that, ”I’m so happy we’re married, i love him so much, I never thought this would happen that first day he walked into the store and I met him for the first time,” she smiled happily at the memory.

Given the happy smile, Steven asked, "Love at first sight then?"

“It was,” Liz smiled brightly at that, “we went on our first date a couple of weeks later,” she told him.

"That's lovely," Steven said. "I'm glad I can be here to see you both on the momentous occasion."

Lower, he said, "Obviously Marc wishes you well as well. Just - not the time for him and me to try doing things together. But he's happy for you, I promise."

Liz nodded at that, understanding,”I understand, tell him thank you, I’ll try and talk to him when we get back from our honeymoon,” she added.

"Of course," Steven said. "When will you be back? Not that there's a need to rush. You two should relax and celebrate long as you like."

"We should be back in a few days," Liz told him, "we're not leaving for the Bahamas til tomorrow," she added.

"Well I hope you have an amazing time just the two of you," Steven said. Then, considering, added, "Three of you. But it's too early for her to be playing on the beach so hopefully she spends her time resting and getting ready for her big day."
