The Sherman-Argentum Wedding; Dahlgren Chapel, Middletown, MD; Friday Afternoon [01/06].

Although there was a bit of a chill in the air, the wintry day was not that bad for a little wedding, and even the clouds in the sky seemed to clear in the sky for the event. Tucked away on a quiet hill, surrounded by trees, the historic Dahlgren Chapel exuded not only quaint tradition, but undeniable privacy for the bride and groom and their friends and collected family.

The small church itself was…tastefully!...decked out in most black and red, with splashes of the occasional white to keep it from being a little too Hot Topic goth-y, in a way that very intentionally meant to be a reflection of Liz's engagement ring.

And, so, with no Fandom Weirdness to get in the way this time, the day was finally here for a small little wedding several months/ten years in the making.

[[ open wedding is open! Please, please, please feel free to mod an invite if you'd like to attend, because we have both had A WEEK and have not had much brain, but the more, the merrier! It's a small wedding, but not that small! ]]

Dwight did have a gift for the newlyweds. He placed the small, simply wrapped package on the table. Inside was a gift that was really to be expected all things considered, but hopefully, the new couple liked it .

Steven was the one at the wedding for a number of reasons. But that didn't mean that Marc didn't care about Liz getting married.

Thus a sealed envelope which bore Marc's handwriting (To Liz and Prompto. Mazel tov. MS) was dropped off at the gift table. Inside was a not ungenerous amount of cash. Not lotto winning amounts by any means, but certainly enough to cover some of the heftier initial expenses of setting up a home for newlyweds and a baby.

If someone happened to look over when it happened who was keenly aware of the body language differences between the two, they might pick up on how Marc was briefly there. But it mostly looked like Steven confidently dropping off an envelope before nervously looking around to see what he should do next.

Professor Broom stopped by the gift table and dropped off a card that was signed from everyone at the BPRD and inside was a cheque that had a very nice amount of money to help out with some of the costs that the newlyweds would have when the baby came.

There were three wrapped boxes added to the table, one large, one small, and one medium, with the tags on all saying they were from "Steven Grant and L. Watts."
