Although there was a bit of a chill in the air, the wintry day was not that bad for a little wedding, and even the clouds in the sky seemed to clear in the sky for the event. Tucked away on a quiet hill, surrounded by trees, the historic Dahlgren Chapel exuded not only quaint tradition, but undeniable privacy for the bride and groom and their friends and collected family.

The small church itself was…tastefully!...decked out in most black and red, with splashes of the occasional white to keep it from being a little too Hot Topic goth-y, in a way that very intentionally meant to be a reflection of Liz's engagement ring.

And, so, with no Fandom Weirdness^™ to get in the way this time, the day was finally here for a small little wedding several months/ten years in the making.

Reception - General Mingling

Just a little bit outside of the chapel, one of outdoor party tents have been set up for a very small, very casual, very low-key reception with a little food, a little music, and a lot of opportunities to celebrate the married couple!

There's plenty of space to move around and some black and red chairs lining the edges of the tent, as well as a few standing tables draped in black cloth with floral centerpieces here and there for people to gather at as well.

Now that the 'hard' part was over, Gladio figured he could just lean comfortably on one of the tables and relax, although, by that, he mostly meant sort of quietly observing the party while trying to work his way through the complicated mix of feelings and thoughts that all of it was bubbling up inside of him. He was happy for Prompto, though, he really was, but a desire for things to have gone quite a bit differently was just the beginning of his conflicted emotions about this whole....everything, if he was honest with himself.

Kurt was looking for the right time to talk to Liz and Prompto, seeing how busy they naturally were. So while he was biding his time, Kurt was hanging around towards the edge of the reception area so he wasn' in the way and so he could still see what all was going on and who all was there.

At this point, Summer felt she could pour herself a nice glass of champagne and hang back and look over the reception with a sense of pride and accomplishment.

Was Hannibal enjoying himself? Absolutely.

Was he judging the food? Also yes. But silently, because any outward sign of disapproval would be rude.
