Liz was still not feeling a hundred percent and thought she’d give it another week before she tried to working from downstairs again, she had thought that she might have felt better and a couple of times she had but it was back to not being a good day.

She didn’t have that much to do since Prompto had been taking care of a lot of the admin side of the store for her, which she was very grateful for and she was trying to answer a few emails that had come through and check on some of the spreadsheets.

"Gods, I hope that's it, anyway!" Prompto said, laughing, and he danced right past the other possibilities that he'd been so worried about with this bright, new, hopeful perspective. Another baby! Possibly! Maybe! He was really trying hard not to get too far ahead of himself, when they didn't know for sure yet, but if it was? Like, for real?

And he would even be here for it this time?

The prospect of it, the relief that it might not be something else bothering her, and that absolutely perfect smile on Liz's face as she looked at him had Prompto overwhelmed for a moment, and all he could do was just swoop in and kiss her again.

And maybe kiss her some more.

And a little more after that.

"So we should go back sure, then, right?" he asked, until all that kissing and his giddiness made him feel a little lightheaded and bouncy and antsy to do something. "Like at the clinic? Or one of those little test things? Probably thr clinic, the clinic's best, right? To really know for sure? Do you want to go now? Later? Should I go get you anything? Ice cream? Do you want ice cream? Tea? Anything else? Oh, man, what's Noctra gonna think about having a sibling??"

Well, it wasn't a pony, but...!

Liz’s smile was wide, “I really hope so too,” she laughed, “The clinic’s probably best. Last time Abe was the one who told me, unless we want to make a visit to the BPRD?” she grinned, “and I don’t think I really need anything right now even though I wouldn’t say no to some ice cream,” she said hopefully.

She tilted her head a bit at the last one, “at least she’ll have a bit of time to prepare that she’s going to be a big sister right?”
