"Whatcha making?" Prompto asked, still waking up after being pulled oh-so-gently out of sleep by the sound of music and the smell of something amazing going on from the kitchen. He had been starting to get a grasp on some sort of regular sleep schedule by now, but Gladio showing up and the last couple of nights staying up and talking with him and trying to sort out what had happened threw that off a little. Apparently not for Gladio; he must have slipped out at some point that morning, too, because the couch was empty, and that didn't surprise him, either. Guy was probably already out jogging around the island; no rest for the wicked.
But not that really mattered, because he found Liz in the kitchen and she was cooking something and there was just something so incredibly perfect about a moment like that that he just needed to soak it in a little, giving Rain a little scratch on the top of her head in passing before going up to try and peek over Liz's shoulder at what she was working on while wrapping his arms around her from behind in greeting.
"Breakfast?" he guessed, although it didn't take long for him to deduce that it was definitely not any sort of breakfast Ignis would approve of.

But he absolutely would.
