Room 515 - Tuesday Morning

Liz sighed as she opened the door to the room that she had been assigned whilst she was at Fandom, how long that would be she didn't know. She chose the bed that was nearest the window and placed her luggage and then her pet carrier on the bed. She sat down and let Blackie out, she hoped that her roommate liked cats.

She knew that she should start unpacking but she was more content to gaze out the window. Despite the weirdness of the place it seemed nice.

[Door and post are both open, especially to the roomie should she be around]

Cautiously, Armony stepped into the doorway. "Erm," she said, glancing one final time at her slip of paper. "I'm Armony Eiselstein," she explained. "And," She smiled. "...I believe we're roommates."

Liz gave a smile in response, "I'm Liz Sherman," she replied, "I believe we are roommates," she nodded in confirmation.

Taking note that Liz seemed to have already claimed her space, Armony set her oversized duffel on the adjacent bed. "Nice to meet you," she said, walking over and offering her a hand.

"Likewise," Liz said as she shook Armony's hand.

Recoiling her hand after shaking Liz's, Armony backstepped until she was leaning on the edge of her bed. She smiled. "Is this your first day?" she asked.

"Yeah I just got here this morning," Liz nodded.

"Me too," she replied. "Freshman?"

"I'm a freshman," Liz nodded and then she asked, "are you a freshman as well?"

Armony hopped backward onto her bed, dangling her feet. "Sure am," she said.

"Where do you come from Armony?" Liz was interested in learning more about her roommate.

A lot of people seemed interested in her origins, here. She supposed it was understandable, considering she was meeting a whole lot of new people. "A little town my daddy rebuilt, called New Hiessgart," she explained. "Where are you from?"

"I'm from New Jersey," Liz replied, "but I've only been living there for a few weeks, I've moved around a lot,"

Armony frowned for a moment. "Never heard of it," she said. "I've... never really moved, other than from Hiessgart to the rebuilt town... which was hardly a move." She frowned thoughtfully for a moment. "...You like it here?"

"It seems okay," Liz replied, "much better than the other schools that I've been to," or at least, so far it was better than the other schools.

"It's a little strange," Armony commented. "But it seems nice."

"The place is a little weird," Liz agreed, "I hadn't even heard of Fandom before I came here,"

A frown crossed her face, and Armony shook her head. "Neither had I," she said. "My dad just sent me here in an effort to keep me from something." She pouted slightly, but shrugged. "What brings you here, anyway?"

"My other school didn't really work out," Liz replied, "my guardian said that Fandom High will be a better school for me to attend,"

Armony nodded. "That's a shame. I guess I'm kind of spoiled; my dad homeschooled me. Then again, I think I was the only kid in Hiessgart, so there wasn't really a need for a school..." She trailed off, catching glimpse of a black, decidedly feline tail. She blinked, and her face brightened. "Do you have a cat?" she directed with a smile at Liz.

"Yeah," Liz smiled, "her name's Blackie, do you like cats?" she probably should have asked that question first.

Armony brought her hands to her face and made a soft, high-pitched squealing sound. "Eee! I love cats," she said. "Blackie, eh? Is she friendly?"

"Very friendly," Liz smiled as she picked up Blackie, "do you want to hold her?"

The redhead smiled broadly when Liz lifted the cat; what a gorgeous animal. She slid off the bed. "Is it okay?" she asked.

"Sure it's okay," Liz nodded as she gently held the cat towards Armony.

Armony smiled again and took the feline carefully, cradling her against her shoulder and lightly stroking two fingers atop the cat's head. "Hello, Blackie," she said. "What a pretty cat you are."
