It was father’s day and Liz wanted to be able to do something special for Prompto, so she had gotten up early and had gotten Noctra up and ready, then she started work on making breakfast.

Liz was focusing on the eggs and bacon and keeping an eye on Noctra, who had insisted on helping with breakfast as well so Noctra was helping stir the pancake batter, some of the batter was ending up on the floor so there was going to be a clean up later but for the time being Liz was focused on getting breakfast ready for when Prompto woke up.

"Oh that's wonderful news," Liz said with a smile, "I'm so happy for them and I definitely won't say anything," she promised.

"Yeah," Prompto big grin got a little doopy and squishy around the edges, "it's pretty great. Even if Gladio said he was going to shove me in to a locker if I start needling him about him and Nell being next. You're not gonna go babbling to everyone about it, either, right, nugget?"

Noctra just sort of stared at him for a moment before giving a big nod. "Right!"

She had no idea what she was agreeing to, she just knew she had pancakes now.

"It definitely is incredible news," Liz smiled fondly and then looked over at Noctra, "I think Noctra's definitely ready for breakfast," she grinned at how closely Noctra was eying those pancakes.

"I think that's makes two of us!" Prompto said with a laugh. "Bring on the breakfast!"

He lifted up a fork to go with the rallying cheer, with Noctra imitating him with an eager squeal to go with it.
