Room 515 - Monday Evening
After spending most of her morning hanging out in the 5th floor common room, Liz had taken Blackie back to her room and stayed inside for the rest of the day. Finally she decided that she might as well write a response to the letter that Hellboy had sent her a couple of weeks ago.
She sighed as she got out a writing pad and pen and sprawled out on her bed to compose the letter home. Blackie was stretched out on the foot of her bed and before she started writing Liz gave her a scratch behind the ears. Blackie purred in response.
Dear HB,
I'm sorry that it has taken me so long to write. These past few weeks have been busy. Classes have been going great. This semester I'm taking Traditional Fairy Tales, 20th Century History, Hunting 101, Tremble Foolish Mortals: The Gods and You and Government. The school curriculum here is really ineresting, it is completely different to the last school that I was at. I mean you do have normal classes but most schools don't teach you how to hunt the paranormal.
The people here have been really nice. Even though I haven't told them about my powers and what damage they have done, the people I've met have been friendly. I just tell them that I went to a high school in Michigan and that there was an incident there, which is partly the truth but I don't know how much longer I can keep hiding my abilities. Apparently this is a school where people with special powers are common.
I just want to be normal.
Anyway I won't try to be too emo in this letter, Fandom High seems like a really good school and I definitely want this to work and it isn't just because of the promise that I made to Professor Broom.
This has been the longest that I've stayed at a school where people haven't given me a hard time. I'm starting to get used to it here.
So far I've been happy with Fandom High,

P.S Blackie is doing really well
Liz sighed as she finished the letter. She glanced up at Blackie and gave her another sctach behind the ears, Blackie's response was a sleepy but contented pur.
