But there was certainly no lack of attention being bestowed upon her now, as Prompto, beaming happily, was more than eager to give his new best friend all the pets and scritches, with a faint little chuckle at the meow, because he liked that she was chatty as well as purr-y. "Ohmygod," he gushed out. "You're just too cute!"
And she didn't seem to care that he was different or weird or awkward or a Nif, and Prompto would have probably been content to sit there and pet the cat all day if he could, but another rumble from his stomach brought his attention back to the food that was being cooked nearby, and, suddenly, he was in quite the conundrum. He frowned, as the next grumble from his stomach went on for an embarrassingly long amount of time, and considered the cat.
"What do you think, Kitty?" Prompto asked her, and, yes, that was her name now, just Kitty, because Prompto was great at naming things. "Should we go get some breakfast? I am pretty hungry."
