Liz kissed him back just as hungrily, just as eagerly … she had long for this moment for so long and now that it was here, she wanted to savour it, she wanted to stay wrapped in his embrace and not let go.

She knew eventually they would have to break apart when a thing like breathing became a necessity but for now she wanted to keep that kiss going for as long as it was possible to do so.
